[Spridgets] [spridgets-aus] Engine Stands..who has the drawing?

I had the blokes at my work knock me up a fitting for the generator mount.

It's the way to go.. allows you to work on the engine with the minimum of hassle, as it is good to have uncluttered access to the rear end of the block.
There is a drawing that a lister forwarded me, which I have since deleted.
I have forwarded this message to the worldwide list, and perhaps some kind participant can send the drawing to you.
It took all of 10 minutes to make, you could even cut/drill the pipe and plate yourself, and ask any welder to join the 2 for you...shouldn't cost more than a 6pack.
worth the effort, as the "universal" fittings on the stands are a touch on the fiddly side.

I want to bolt my Sprite engine to one of those engine stands with the
four adjustable arms. Ultimately, I want to confirm my theory that
I've done a big end.

Am I right in assuming you bolt the stand to the clutch end of the engine?

If so, do I have to remove the clutch? I don't think the tubes on the
ends of the arms will reach the engine otherwise?

I had a look on the list archives and found that I can fabricate an
adaptor to attach the stand to the generator bracket, but as I don't
have a welder I'm not keen on that idea.

Any suggestions or hints would be appreciated.

Cheers

Greg
