Hi, If by temperate you mean hot, then Texas is for you. Look around New Braunfels. It is between Austin and San Antonio and has a nice water park for when the temperate weather boils your blood. You can be an near good music in Austin and near SA, too. Keep in mind that Texas is like a whole nother country. Cheers, Derf
