Yeah, it's the boss in the block. I've pulled the
distributor, pulled the drive spindle, and my
inspection (and my fuzzy photo) show that the hole in
the boss is missing a piece. It flippin' broke, I
guess, during my initial startup. There is just a tiny
bit of wear on the gear on the spindle. It must have
been kicked out/off it's matching gear when things
went south.

I still don't understand what jammed to cause
this...or did the broken spindle hole start the event?
Or did I Gomer the assembly?

New block, huh? Dang dang dang. Just finally finished
getting this one together.

my incredibly bad luck rubs off in some way. 2 weeks
ago it was a falling tree on my GT6, now it's a ruined
block. Approach my bad karma with caution ;/
