Hello Ron,

the cam is an "RV1" from Oregon Cam Grinding. it doesn't match up with
ANYTHING else, from anyone else. ..

       the specs are

gross lift int .321 exh .318
adv. dur. int 256 deg. exh 256 deg
.050 dur. int 216 deg exh 214 deg
       lobe sep 111 deg
       int c/l 109 deg.
lash hot int .018 exh .018

its a mild street grind, but the most interesting thing to me,
(being more of a researcher than mechanic) is the lobe
centerline seperation.. according to "the book" you can go up
to 107 deg but this one goes over even THAT!. what it gives in
a 1098 is pulling power in all gears down below 1500 rpms
even!! i can pull 5th without lugging from about there. what it
gives up is high end power. (seat of the pants measure). i
tend to "putter" when driving, that is i'm in 4th or 5th even
by the time i reach 35 mph, and seldom drive or 70 mph, so it
       suits me just fine..
