[Spridgets] Hello and Kingpin bushings?

A local brit car guru ( ex-guru? ) says 'BMW' is the 5 speed that the spridget wants.  I asked if he had done it, and he said 'no, but I can'.  I didn't want to be the guinea pig for one of his projects.
