I have a 61 RHD Bugeye with Heritage Certificate that states it was built in
1961.B According to Terry's and others books, there were 41 built that year
and all were for home distribution as RHD.

The most common opinion is, there were NO 1961 Bugeyes, unless they
ere part of the CKD kits sent to Oz. All others are 1960 and earlier.
'm certain that a Heritage Cert would confirm this more often than not.

Build date is irrelevant to title date. Titles tend to be based on when the
car was sold as new, since the dealership wants you to think you got such a
great deal. Having said that, I would lean towards correcting the title to
say 1961, since that is the year I was born, but you would probably lean
 towards 1960.
