I bought ATE blue for exactly that reason. Available from
www.bavauto.com <http://www.bavauto.com/> , among other places.
Ironically, I put it in the Cosworth Vega and my old Tercel, and not our
BMW.

I have thought that it would be good to be able to 
buy fluid of different colours. Then when 
renewing, you could choose a new colour and tell 
when the old was fully flushed out of the system!
