[Spridgets] Engine heat

I race a PI with a 1275.  Rookie year I melted the right heel of an expensive
pair of driver's shoes.  After that I wrapped some exhaust insulation around
the the exhaust pipe directly under the pedals, and screwed a foot square
piece of 3/32nd aluminum on the floor under the pedals as a heat sink.
