More likely the bead didn't seat well or the valve is leaking. Take it back to the installer and ask him to see where it is leaking. You may need to break the bead, clean the rim and re-install the tire. Or, check it yourself. Fill it with air and dunk it in the bathtub. The bubbles will tell the tale.
