[Spridgets] How to press bearing into doublebearing hub

I hope that all is most excellent with everyone.

I have all of the bearings that I need now to install in the doblebearing hubs.  A big thanks to all that helped.  

I have a few more quick questions that I am sure you all will have an answer to.  Before you press the bearings in place, do you put any kind of lube around the bearing outer shell so that it slides into place easier?

What is the orientation of the inner seal that has to be pressed in last?  I really don't know how to explain it orientation-wise.  I hope one of you will know what I am referring to.  The seal has a smooth complete face and the other side has the seal itself somewhat visible.
