Yeah, I think the 'Walla' is from Washington.  At least I think Bugs Bunny 
said 'Walla-Walla-Washington'. :)

For myself, coming from the province of Quebec, and with a French last name, 
even though I am an anglophone ... I would opt for the Voil`!  ( look 
there! )
