[Spridgets] burlen

Although I've heard that there are some occasional problems, I've had
good luck with the ones I've used on HS2s, and HIF4s.  I'll be ordering
a few rebuild kits, for an upcoming carburetor & ignition tech seminar,
for our local MG and Triumph clubs.  If I find anything that is amiss,
I'll sure announce it to you guys.

Is there any truth to the rumor that newly made Burlen carb parts do not

always fit old SU's? Also,---Burlen says the mechanical fuel pump for
the 948  
and 1275 have different part numbers. Are they really different pumps,
or does  
the different number simply imply a different application? Bob  C
