Don't s'pose anyone criticizing cell phone using drivers are smokers, are
they?

I agree 100%. I will also maintain that some people are more capable of
safely holding a conversation while driving than others. However, the more
time one spends doing both simultaneously, the higher the chance of having
the law of averages catch up to us. How many of us are innocent of having
caused a cell-phone-related accident more by luck than skill? I guess we are

better than the average bear simply because it is difficult to conduct a
meaningful conversation in a top-down Spridget ;-) Thanks to Ron, I am
making the conscious decision to minimize my cell usage while driving. I
would like to think I do not HAVE to make all the mistakes in life myself
(although I think I have made a substantial dent in them).
