You have done good. I always keep one friend in the neighborhood to help
bleed the brake and clutch systems. Air can work its way out of the system,
and if it's working, time is on your side. I don't think air can dissolve
into the fluid. Double check the adjustment on all four wheels. ...bill in

Subject: [Spridgets] bleeding the brakes

Greetings.
My sprite had been suffering that sinking pedal feeling..on the brakes and
clutch.
 . . .

No more air coming out...but still a spongy feel to the brake pedal.

A quick search of the autox archive says I should leave the car sit for a
few days now and let some magical elves finish the job... I assume this
means that the remaining air will dissolve into the brake fluid if given
time. Car stops OK, just the pedal travels further than I am used to or am
comfortable with.

Does anyone have any other tips?...not including bench bleeding the MC,
which i am not game to try and undo the pipes to (because I am almost
guaranteed to round off the nuts and destroy them)

Andy
