[Spridgets] Fuel line question

  Spridgeteers - I'm in process of mounting a new Mr. Gasket fuel pump and pressure regulator and have a question for the list...
   
  This adjustable regulator has three different sizes of fittings (for use with different fuel line diameters) that screw into the regulator on either side.  What should I use to seal the fittings?  Is the white vinyl tape used in plumbing fixtures OK to use here?  I wasn't sure if the fuel would dissolve it and thought I'd ask you guys rather than guess and hope it doesn't.
