What you have to do is find a UK biddder and also someone in the UK who can  
collect and store the item and then ship it to the USA.
 
I've done quite a lot of UK bidding for folk in the USA and they've done  the 
same for me.  However, I can't collect any big items as my only car is  a 
Sprite.
