[Spridgets] Floor pan "oil canning' question

The floor pan between the cross member and the firewall "oil cans" as I get 
in and out.  Also on the passenger side.
I only have rubber mats at the moment.
Would using that 'glue in' heat resistant foil padding reduce this effect??
