General concensus seems to be that the Nyloc's will do just fine!
But, as a 'belt and braces' approach, double-nut them....  just to be sure!!

BTW - It sure was a bitch getting the sheared bit of the shock bolt out of the 
tower plate(?)....   no wonder the PO left it as was...  ;-\
