I looked on the internet and found a customized front end with wide spaced
eyes on it

  Dave,

  It's easy.

  Remove the bonnet, front fenders, front cowl, bumper and grille.
  (Everything the Bugeye bonnet will be replacing).

  Cut or grind the horizontal lip off the outside of each of the inner
  (front) fenders.

  The Bugeye bonnet is a direct bolt-on to the original hinges in their
  original positions.

  If you're lucky the bonnet you will have purchased will be straight,
  and you won't have the front tires rub ;)
