[Spridgets] Miata Seats

Gang,

Have any of you put Miata seats in a Spridget with a street roll bar?

I have a set I was going to put in my Sprite mkII with a street roll bar
(mounts to the floor behind the seats) and with the seats pushed back tight
against the roll bar there is barely any room and my knees hit the dash if
my feet are on the petals.

Suggestions other then loose weight (190 lbs - 5'8")?
