Michael,

FWIW - here in North Carolina we no longer suffer the indignity of a
state inspection on cars at least 35 years old. So my '72 can clean fall 
apart
in traffic and the state don't care. Saves me money. But I do miss that
yearly assault to get the car up to scratch.
