[Spridgets] Starting Issue - Not my LBC but time of year related

Always, always, always run down the grounds.  Check the block to
chassis ground strap.  Bad electrical connections manifest themselves
in the oddest of manners sometimes.
I'd bet your starter is good.  Starter solenoid or relay may be suspect.
After grounds, start looking at relays.  Sometimes there are queer
relays that only let you start in Park or Neutral, with the clutch in
(Miata), with your foot on the brake, etc.
