Yep, keeping the wife happy is key.

I'm one lucky SOB in that my wife encourages my car habit. For example:

Bought my Midget as a Birthday gift for me.
Bought the interior kit and top for the restoration of said Midget.
Doesn't to bodywork with a baseball bat (that's my job - the Louisville
slugger fender roller)
Didn't divorce me when I nearly killed the both of us by rolling the
Midget. She still rides in it too.
Went to Detroit with me to pick up my Cosworth Vega.
Went BACK to Detroit this year for the Cosworth Roundup in June.
Her '91 BMW (daily driver) is slated to be my next restoration project. 

AND, she's brewing beer with me this weekend.

I just need to cook dinner, do the dishes, and keep the cats fed. Oh,
and all the repair projects in the (175 year old) house....

I wouldn't have it any other way.
