[Spridgets] Scissor Jack tip

I recently bought a scissor jack on ebay for the Midget. The jack I bought
has a flat metal surface with a hole in the middle that lifts the car. I
found the perfect thing to mount there. At a friend's house a few days ago we
were talking about the jack and various other things MG when I mentioned that
I wanted to find some kind of rubber foot with a mounting bolt to fit on top
of the jack.

He dug the remnants of a motor mount for a Magnette out of the trash . He had
cut the rubber part in half with his sawzall when removing the engine a little
while ago. The half motor mount is absolutely perfect. Mounted it to the
jack and tried it out today. I don't know if Magnettes have mounts in common
with B's or Midgets, but any similar mount should work. Basically, you take
an engine mount that is rubber in the middle with a metal plate and a bolt
sticking out, cut the rubber in half and have something to bolt onto
your scissor jack.

Thought I'd pass it along since I've been unsuccessfully looking for something
like this for a few weeks. Somebody suggested counter sinking a bolt
thru a hockey puck, but I didn't get around to testing that idea.
