[Spridgets] BE rear brakes up-grade

Herb,

I 'upgraded' to later midget brakes using the backing plates, and parking
brake actuating rods off a '78 midget. The only problem I ran into was the 
brake drums rubbed on the new backing plates. I had to have about 1/16 inch
machined off the back of the drums. It appears that the mounting location of
the later 1/2 leaf axles is slightly different than the early 1/4 leaf axles.

Anyone up-graded their Bugeye rear brakes with later model brakes?
