I'll always be a hot-rodder at heart - that appeals to me in a really bad
way...  Gotta pull the engine tranny anyway because of the clutch issue. 
Anybody got a spare 289 / T-10 laying around and some mad welding skills for
hire??? 
 
(as much as I'd love it, it's going to stretch the bank to get new clutch set
and peripherals already - just dreamin')
