[Spridgets] Need tires

I know this has been addressed before, but it seems to be getter harder 
to find tires for my 1979 Midget.

OEM size is 145x13 = unobtainium

"Equivalent" size is 165/70x13, but I see only two listed on tirerack 
and neither gets great reviews. Only one I can find locally is a Trazano 
H550A for $40, but don't know anything about it. 
http://www.trazano.com/p-14-h550a.aspx doesn't even show the treadwear 
ratings.

I currently have 155/80x13 tires on it and would like to go 
wider/shorter. These, too, are getting hard to find. Even Sams Club is 
phasing out of all 13 inch tires.

Can I really go to 175/70x13 without rubbing or rolling the inner 
fenders? I've only got about a 1/2 inch clearance as it is.

What to do? What to do?
