Hello Timothy,

     Peter the Parts Pimp sells just such a thing. He "hogs out" (his
     term) a stock condensor, puts in some sort of electronics and an
     LED. It limits the points voltage to .4 volts and according to
     him makes points last......... he still doesn't know how long,
     over 50,000 miles on his Mini. ..... The LED makes it a cinch to
     static time the ignition....
