I took a similar tumble when I was in college, turning left in heavy
traffic at a busy intersection.
There had been an accident earlier and I didn't see the broken glass
and oil slick until it was too late.
I took a 15 year break from bikes and recently bought a dirt bike for
the youngun and a dual sport bike for me.
I'm sticking to mostly dirt, though, I have no desire to ride long
distances on interstates with today's traffic.
