[Spridgets] Welding Gas tanks

Hi Gang,

I weld gas tanks routinely in my welding shop. The secret is to fill the tank
with CO (Carbon Monoxide) usually with a hose from my truck (with the engine
running) to the tank. CO simply will not ignite. It's quite safe or I would
not be doing it.

Thank God we don't get all the government we pay for.

My brother recounted a story to me about a guy who said he was going to weld
a
gas tank at a place where he worked. I think he tried to talk him out of it,
but failed. So, he said, well, I'm not sticking around and he started to
leave the shop. Before he could get out the door, he heard the BOOM and
looked back and saw the guy sitting on the floor with a vacant stare on his
face. :) Fortunately, only his pride was injured.
