[Spridgets] My students high school project for the Spritdget...comments needed.

Lin,

Not sure I understand the problem either.  My 1968 Midget has the hood
support rod which I thought was standard on the cars back then. However,
I've never had a problem with it unless they might have considered it a
nuisance to remove from or to put back into its clip. A lot of people change
to the sliding support and that item may have come on some of the later
cars...      Also, FWIW the boot lid on my 1968 also has the support rod and
spring clip arrangement so that might be usable for their project.
