NJ has this law and I know of a couple people who have been ticketed.
But the EZ Pass electronic toll device that is attached to the front 
plate conceals ALL of the words New Jersey and that's OK.
But put a $2 plate frame on the tag and you are busted!
Government lies, cheats, and sucks (literally as in our ex Governor)
