[Spridgets] No LBC, but car related

Don't know if it applies to this car or not, but Hondas used to be bad about
the valve stem seals leaking oil. It wasn't that big a deal to replace them
if I remember right - again, I don't know your particular engine. It will
probably last for quite a while if you keep feeding it oil.

On the other hand - we absolutely love our '05 Mini...

Just went out and wiped my finger in the tail pipe. Black and sooty. I
guess it is going out the there, but from the rings or the intake valves?
The tech at the Honda dealer said to bring it in at 1000 miles and he would
check the oil level. The service tech writer told me he had to take the
head off to look at the top of the pistons. I asked if that was all he
wanted see, then why don't you just stick a bore scope down the spark plug
hole and look that way and save me 800 bucks. He said he would ask the
mechanics if they had one. Maybe I should just sell it and get the new Mini
I have been thinking about!
