[Spridgets] Mech tach question

[Mark Haynes]

Is there a difference other than the manufacturer for the early mechanical
tachs, i.e. Jaeger vs Smiths in terms of the tach gear box ratio? My original
goes weird and wobbly after 3000 R's and I was thinking of placing the face
onto one from the MKII so that it looks correct AND works correctly.
