[Spridgets] Friends made through Sprite

One of my best friends (now) was driving along in a new 1971 Midget when I
pulled alongside of him. He took off as if to rally so I followed him in my
67 Sprite. Turns out he was just headed home. We talked spridgets for quite
a while. Some time later he told me that he was ready to kick my ass that
night because he thought that I was screwing with him at first!!! He was a
black belt karate student and had a pair of numchucks in his belt...

That was 1971 and we are still best friends! We've been through a lot
together over the years and it is all because of these little cars.
