[Spridgets] Tachometer wiring

Can someone 'splain what the RVC or RVI is?

I'm actually converting my spare (and known working) RVI 2401/00A this
weekend to Neg ground and replacing the capacitor.

Would a bad capacitor make it read higher than it should?

Chris

So, let's say we had a choice of tachs to use. RVC or RVI

What would sway you one way or the other, and is the wiring different?
