[Spridgets] Swapping floats and carb tops from a 1098 SU to a 1275 SU

IS it possible to swap floats and carb tops form a set of SU's on a 1098 with
a set from a 1275. I've got gas pouring out of the top of my front carb, I'll
assume I've got a float issue that is not shutting off. Can I simply swap the
top off of the front carb from my spare 1275.
