Oil drip, but nothing hitting the driveway

A rattle at idle?  No squeal.  

>Is there side-to-side play between the shaft and the pump housing?

Not that I can feel, could I have the belt too tight?  Just paranoid since
the alternator conversion is working w/o smoke :)  Belt alignment is good in
my line of sight.

I hear a slight rattle from the front area at low idle at times.
