I used to have that car as my wallpaper. I would love to drive one once...
Thank goodness the company that was the US dealer for Ariel and was
putting in GM engines has been replaced.

BTW, I think that V8 MIGHT fit a Spridget, Larry.

I looked up the specs on the engine.  It is 21" wide and tall and 19" long. 
That just might work.  That seq. trans might fit better, too.

Of course, I would only want it because the very light weight might give a 
Spridget better fuel mileage.
