On the brighter side of this conversation, I scored a great Thule hitch-mount bike rack (retail $400 + online) for $60 at Joe's Sporting goods blow-out.  The guy could not locate the correct price, so he guessed $120.  When I got to the register, the cashier took another 50% off!  SCORE!!    It works great on the back of my RV!

I am glad to see Circuit City go down. They screwed me out of a $200 rebate a few years ago--I never again darkened their door nor opened their flyers in the paper. Good Riddance to these shysters. 8^)

I too went into the local Circuit City during the "empty the store" Sale and 
was amused at the prices. Actually, I was a bit upset as I had gone out of 
my 
way to go to the place. Half the shelves were empty, much of what was left 
had been opened, all was at what seemed to be regular everyday prices if not 
a 
bit higher. Didn't buy a thing, but there were long lines of lemmings at 
the 
registers grasping their "bargains".

How ironic that these guys made more money by going out of business than 
when they were trying to operate for a profit. They should go out of 
business more often.
