[Spridgets] 14 inch Miata wheels

Has anyone tried, or is there anyone with a 1st generation Miata
that could see if the 14 inch Miata wheels fit a spridget?
>From what I've seen, they are 4x100 lug spacing, (slightly less than 4x4)
 and 14x5.5 or 6 inches wide.
If the center hole is big enough, seems like a go.
