I think the 948 and 1275 clutch is held on by 6 bolts.
And yes, you can adapt a 1275 diaphram clutch to fit a 948
flywheel by carefully locating and drilling the flywheel an inserting 
the two pins.   I have such a flywheel.    

The clutch changed on the 1098 but I think the flywheel 
holes might be the same as the 948.
