The spitfidget started in late 74 and continued until they quit in about 80.
It gets a bad rap, but they are pretty good cars for dependability. A bunch of
torque is manufactured by that little engine. If you can get a 76 with the
high compression that makes some RPMs, you can easily squeeze 100hp out of it
with minor tuning. The 1500 is a stroker version of the 1300 and the 1300 was
an excellent engine.

Actually, there were a few late 1974 cars that had the RBs and 1275...
Not very many though!
