Well, with inflation, that $40 grinder would be selling for about $80
today. Still you're probably right.

OTOH, I bought a cheap $20 HF (Chicago Electric) 4.5" angle grinder
about 9 years ago when I was first starting my Midget. I figured if I
died, I could just get another one. I haven't killed it yet. Sometimes
you get lucky.
