Go to local home repair store or lumberyard and buy a pack of tapered wood
shims. They are used to plumb door and window frames.
Apply one or more between offending jack stand and car frame. Light tap with
a hammer and everything will be snug.

As a matter of interest... has anyone got a favorite way of stopping the car
from maybe 'rocking' when it's up on 4 jacks??

My old Jag saloon was heavy enough not to do that; but the little sprite
ain't that heavy!

And wheel chocks. Jack stands are fine, but there always seems to be a
little grade which might allow the car to roll off the stands if you don't
have all 4 in the air. Get yerseff a cat and freeze it. Wonderful wheel
chock. Aand when you're done, Brad has a hungry snake you can feed the cat
to.
