That reminds me- what I wrote is for a system with negative ground.  
What connects to ground and what is "hot" depends on whether it is 
negative ground or positive ground.
> At least one terminal in the dizzy should be insulated from ground.
> Verify power to the coil.  Make sure other side of coil is grounded
> when points are closed and not grounded when points are open.
