[Spridgets] Refilling a Rib Case

I guess I never heard Paul A, Eric Jones, or Tim at Four-in-Tune recommend anything but $2 per quart non-detergent motor oil for a ribcase BMC gearbox. Between the 3 of them, I would bet hundreds of gearboxes have been torn down and rebuilt. Why in the world is this even up for discussion?
