A 5 speed overdrive?  Does he mean a 4 speed with overdrive on  top?  I'd 
knock money off for having parts overhauled by Apple  Hydraulics.  Shouldn't 
the carbs be HD or H type not the HS he has  fitted?
 
Yep the tacho is shot.
 
He never really does accelerate that hard in it, why is that?
 
Not least if he loves it so much why is he selling it?
 
Finally, he needs to learn better hand position on his steering wheel -  
quarter to three or ten to two.... better not him loose in a Porsche.
