[Spridgets] Ebay-HANS Device Update (Long)

Assuming the tracking number is valid, the tracking systems don't necessarily
recognize the tracking number immediately. It may take 24 hours.

Obviously you don't want a decision from ebay based on a tracking number but on
a proof of delivery as well as confirmation that the item was as described.

Your seller had little seller feedback. A good idea in the future to get an idea
of the type of seller you may be dealing-with should you place a bid, is to send
a simple email asking a question, (or call them on the phone when they list a
phone number in the auction.) No answer to your question is a red flag, a curt
or sarcastic answer is another.

Good luck.

Subject: Re: [Spridgets] Ebay-HANS Device Update (Long)

On Friday I saw that the seller gave me positive feedback, only saying he
shipped the HANS, no tracking info. Saturday morning I opened a case and left
my cell number, and found the seller gets another 7 days grace. I got a call
from him late Sat. afternoon and heard apologies, an excuse that he wasn't
even in the USA, and he was shipping today. he asked for my email, name and
shipping address, and apparently had trouble writing it down, and someone else
took the phone. Might have been his mother who said she couldn't get all of
this info from ebay. Great now there is another opportunity for something to
get screwed up. I wanted to know how he can sell for this price, and how
could he relist for $300. He said that was a mistake, he only has the one
HANS, and he notified that buyer. I knew they couldn't ship until Monday, but
didn't get a confirmation all day. This morning I received a message through
ebay with a tracking number and no shipper name. I
entered 0310-0480-0000-2670-7064 at USPS, UPS, and Fed-Ex and it is not
recognized. I received another message from ebay customer support that the
seller wants them to make a decision on this case, and they will try not to
make me wait more than 72 hours. It has taken me several years, but I think I
have finally found the most ignorant, illiterate ebayer in the US. Still I am
playing along and wrote asking for the shipping company name. Stay tuned.
