Are you looking for an OBD I code scanner? In my limited experience they are not necessary. There is a procedure to use a jumper wire in the diagnostic connector to flash the code on the "Check Engine" light. You count the flashes to assemble the code. It should be any workshop manual for 1995 models. The list of codes is much shorter than for OBD II, and I had to relay on basic diagnostics and following the specific procedure for checking each sensor.
